What Is Title X?

Title X is a federal program that supports access to family planning and related preventive-health services.

The program helps people receive essential healthcare, education, counseling, and support. Title X services are voluntary, which means you remain in control of your healthcare decisions.

At Newlands Health, we believe everyone deserves accurate information, respectful treatment, and quality family planning care.

Title X Services Available at Newlands Health

All the following services are available at both our Frankford and Rising Sun locations.

Birth-Control Counseling and Methods

Our healthcare providers can explain available birth-control options and help you choose a method that fits your health, lifestyle, and family-planning goals.

During your visit, you can ask questions about:

  • How different birth-control methods work
  • Possible benefits and side effects
  • How often each method must be used
  • Your personal and medical preferences
  • Pregnancy prevention and birth spacing

Your provider will help you make an informed and voluntary decision.

Pregnancy Testing and Counseling

We provide pregnancy testing and professional counseling to help you understand your results and available next steps.

Our team offers respectful, patient-centered information without pressure or judgment.

  • Screening and testing
  • Treatment when available and appropriate
  • Counseling about prevention
  • Referrals for additional care when needed

Our team provides a safe environment where you can speak openly about your sexual health.

HIV Prevention, PrEP, and PEP

Newlands Health provides HIV-prevention education and services, including PrEP and PEP.

PEP is emergency medication that may help prevent HIV after a possible exposure. PEP must be started as soon as possible after exposure.

Contact Newlands Health promptly if you believe you may need PEP.
